Configuring Text Elements on a Barcode Label |
1. The software interface is organized into three primary sections: |
On the right side, you will find the visual Label Designer, which provides a real-time preview of how your label will look. The upper-left area contains the Data Editor, where you manage the content for each label element. The lower-left section houses the Properties Panel, which displays and allows you to adjust the parameters of the selected label element. |

|
2. As shown in the illustration, when you click a text element in the Label Designer, the corresponding data row in the Data Editor is automatically highlighted. |
At the same time, the Properties Panel updates to display all editable attributes for that text element, such as its size, X/Y coordinates, font family, font size, and other styling options. This synchronized interaction ensures that changes in one area are instantly reflected across the interface. |

|
3. The example below shows a label layout with 10 elements on the right side, these may include text fields, barcodes, and other graphical components. |
The Data Editor on the upper left contains exactly 10 rows of data, each corresponding to one label element. This one-to-one relationship helps maintain clarity and makes it easy to manage data input and formatting for the entire label. |

|
4. When you select a data row, a small button appears at the end of the corresponding cell. |
Clicking this button opens the Data Input Form, where you can batch-enter data for multiple labels at once. This feature is especially useful when printing labels with different text or barcode values, such as product codes, serial numbers, or item descriptions. |
You can also copy and paste data directly from Excel into this form to significantly improve efficiency. For more detailed instructions, please refer to other articles. |

|
5. When you click a label element in the Label Designer, the Properties Panel in the lower left displays all available parameters for that item. |
In the example below, a text element is selected, and you can see its X and Y coordinates, font family, font size, and font style. |
If you select a barcode or image element instead, the panel will display additional parameters specific to that element, for example, barcode type, bar height and width, rotation. |

|
6. The four arrow buttons in the lower-right area allow you to fine-tune the position of any label element. |
Each click moves the selected element one step in the corresponding direction, producing the same result as manually entering new X and Y coordinate values. You may also drag elements directly within the Label Designer using your mouse. |
The checkbox between the arrow buttons controls the movement step size, letting you switch between precision adjustments and faster repositioning. |
The [Lock Items] checkbox on the right side prevents selected elements from being moved, which is helpful when you want to avoid accidental changes while adjusting other components. |
